Who We Are
At Emerald Key Design Co., we believe every space holds the potential for transformation—and that thoughtful design is the key to unlocking it. Founded by interior architectural designer Yael Weinstein, the studio brings together timeless sophistication and story-driven design across both residential and hospitality environments.
Yael Weinstein holds a Master of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from Academy of Art University. As a designer in her second career, she brings a perspective shaped by both academic rigor and real-world experience. During her time in Maryland, Yael worked as a Design Associate at an award-winning interior design firm in Washington, D.C., contributing to kitchen and bath renovations, residential interiors, and home additions. Her work now focuses on high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects, where she continues to develop refined, detail-driven environments.
Whether designing for homeowners or guests, Emerald Key specializes in refined kitchens, serene baths, tailored residential interiors, and performance-driven short-term rentals. Each space is crafted to balance beauty and function—inviting comfort while creating a lasting impression.
Yael’s approach is rooted in a deep appreciation for materiality, rendering, and detail. From distinctive tile applications to carefully curated lighting, every element is considered as part of a cohesive whole. Her work prioritizes not only aesthetics, but the lived experience of the end user.
With a philosophy grounded in refinement, warmth, and narrative, Emerald Key creates interiors that reflect more than style. Each project is shaped by the client’s lifestyle, aspirations, and the story of the space itself.
From architectural layout through final styling, the process is collaborative, transparent, and detail-driven. The result is an environment that feels both elevated and personal—designed not just to be seen, but to be experienced.
Step inside the world of Emerald Key, where design does not just transform spaces—it elevates the way they are lived in.
